Dr. Gale Flanagan, Medical Director
Dr. Gale Flanagan opened our hospital in 1994 and has been leading it ever since. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 1985 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 from Ohio State University. She has been a diehard Buckeye (and veterinarian) ever since! In addition to that Dr. Flanagan attended the Chi Institute of Veterinary Medicine to study acupuncture and received her CVA in January of 2013. One of the things Dr. Flanagan loves most about being a veterinarian is forming bonds with her clients, many of whom have been clients for more than 20 years. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her Lab Duncan, Garden, and Travel whenever she gets the chance to. A fun fact about Dr. Flanagan is that she is always willing to learn and makes sure she stays current with new veterinary advances to ensure she is always providing the best care for her patients.

Dr. Rebecca Aguilar

Dr. Rebecca Aguilar Joined our hospital in May of 2018. She completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Rutgers University in 2014 and then went on to earn her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University in 2018. In her spare time, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with her Labrador Retriever, Jedi. A fun fact about Dr. Aguilar is that she loves to sit in the sun and read a good book!

Dr. Michael Cummings
Dr. Michael Cummings joined our hospital in 2008. He attended the University of Georgia, college of veterinary medicine, and received his DVM in 1999. In his spare time, Dr. Cummings likes to garden, play darts with friends, scuba dive, and attend concerts. A fun fact about Dr. Cummings is that he is from Liverpool, England!

Raelynn, Practice Manager
Raelynn joined our hospital in April of 2013 as a part time CSR. After only a few short months, she knew this was the career she wanted to have and eventually came on as a full-time employee. Since then, she has worked her way up to becoming a Practice manager as of November 2021, which is one of her biggest accomplishments. In her spare time, Raelynn loves to spend time with her husband Ryan and her two cats, go to the beach, watch movies, spend time with friends and read. A fun fact about Raelynn is that she loves to decorate for the holidays and can’t resist buying more decorations every year!

Katie, Practice Manager

Katie joined our hospital in January 2008 as a CSR. Throughout her career here, she has continuously grown into many different leadership roles until finally becoming a practice manager in November of 2021. In her spare time Katie loves to do her favorite role of all, being a mom and spending time with her three children Parker, Maggie, Eli, her Husband Scott and her two cats. She also loves to cook, garden, spend time with friends and jam out to some good 90’s hip hop in her mom van! A fun fact about Katie is that she was a baby model which led her to be a guest on the Merv Griffin show.

Rachel, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Rachel joined our hospital in March of 2022 but has been in the vet field since about 2010. One of her biggest achievements in her career was getting her license and being able to practice emergency medicine. In her spare time, Rachel likes to play soccer, go hiking or attend comedy shows. A fun fact about Rachel is that she is obsessed with Pitbull’s, especially her own named Roo and always strives to be the best fur mom and human mom she can be!

Melissa, Veterinary Technician

Melissa joined the hospital in May of 2016 but has been in the industry since 2001. She has always loved animals and it shows how she cares for them. Her goal is to one day move to Florida and soak up the sunshine with her family and her 2 dogs. In her spare time, Melissa loves to travel and can often be found planning her next trip somewhere fun. A fun fact about Melissa is that aside from dogs and cats she has a love for horses and goes horseback riding whenever she can!

Danielle, Certified Veterinary Technician
Danielle joined our hospital in April of 2022 but has been in the vet field since about 2009. Throughout her time in the field Danielle has worked in many different settings such as Emergency, ICU, specialty medicine, and has even spent time working as a certified veterinary nurse practitioner. Amongst many other accomplishments and awards throughout her career, earning her license and graduating with a bachelor’s degree with honors is at the top. Danielle hopes to work towards a specialty as a certified nurse practitioner and to continue developing and expanding other CVT’s abilities throughout the field. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and four dogs, running marathons, reading, and spending time outdoors. A fun fact about Danielle is that you can always catch her dancing off beat to a good boy band song!

Melissa, Veterinary Technician
Melisa joined our hospital in October of 2016. She is a true animal lover at heart and has been working in this field since 2000! In her spare time Melisa loves going to beach and spending time with her family and her dog Comet. A fun fact about Melisa is that she likes to bake and always tries to be creative with her decorating!
Jamie, Technician Assistant

Jamie joined the hospital in September of 2019 but has been in the field since 2017. Her goal is to become a certified veterinary technician and one day expand her knowledge to work with large animals. She recently accomplished training as a surgery technician and looks forward to continuing to grow in surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys cuddling with her cats and playing Xbox. A fun fact about Jamie is that she considers herself the hospital clown and loves to keep us all laughing!

Emily, Technician Asistant

Emily joined the practice in September of 2019. One of her biggest accomplishments is receiving her approved veterinary assistant license but she hopes to continue her education and become a certified veterinary technician. Emily is always willing to learn and recently added performing dental surgeries to her list of accomplishments! In her spare time, she enjoys attending concerts, playing Xbox, and watching horror movies. A fun fact about Emily is that she never learned how to swim or ride a bike!

Lindsey, Technician Assistant

Lindsey joined our hospital in May of 2021 as a kennel assistant. Since then, she has begun training as a tech assistant. Lindsey is currently in school at Rutgers University and hopes to continue to vet school and become a large mammal veterinarian. In her spare time, Lindsey loves to hang out with her friends, travel, watch Netflix and hang out with her two dogs Ginger and Cooper. A fun fact about Lindsey is that she won first place in the Rutgersag field day animal handling and fitting competition with her goat Figi!

Lydia Technician Assistant

Lydia joined the hospital in October of 2019 as a kennel assistant and worked her way up to a tech assistant in February of 2021. She is currently in school for medical imaging sciences and is expected to graduate in May 2022. She will be continuing her education and attending Rutgers school of health professions for diagnostic medical sonography. Lydia hopes to become a pediatric ultrasound technician and possibly one day move back to the vet field to do diagnostic medical sonography for animals. In her spare time, she loves to hike and play with her dogs. A fun fact about Lydia is that she loves to express herself at EDM shows and attend as many musical festivals as she can.

Bri, Technician Assistant

Bri joined our Hospital in March of 2021. She is currently in school in to become a certified veterinary technician and is halfway through! In true cat lady fashion, Bri loves to spend time with her four cats Moo, Lucas, Pumpkin, and Tuesday. A fun fact about Bri is that she enjoys watching Marvel movies and shopping on Etsy!

Sarahjane, Technician Assistant
Sarahjane joined our hospital in February of 2019. Coming from a previous medical background, Sarah was able to quickly adjust her skillset to working with animals. She hopes to continue developing and eventually become a certified Technician. In her spare time, she likes to ride motorcycles and ATV’s, go on hikes, and spend time with her pets. A fun fact about Sarah is that she just finished successfully bottle feeding two kittens and they are now a part of her family!
Lori, Lead Client Service Representative

Lori joined our hospital in February of 2020. Prior to joining the vet industry, Lori worked in human medical offices which gave her the skills and knowledge to adjust quickly to helping furry patients instead. In her spare time, Lori loves to cook, catch up on her favorite tv shows, or spend time with her husband, son, and cat Gumby. A fun fact about Lori is that she loves horses and often takes trips to ride the Clydesdales in Pennsylvania!

Rachel, Client Service Representative

Rachel joined the hospital in February of 2017 as a part-time CSR. Since then, she has worked her way up to be one of our full-time seniors. She has always had a love for animals and can always be caught taking a picture of our furry clients. In her spare time, Rachel loves to go on adventures with her son, play bingo or spend time with friends. A fun fact about Rachel is that she loves to make people laugh and can always be counted on to put a smile on your face!

Amanda,Client Service Representative

Amanda joined our hospital in October of 2020. She has lived in Old Bridge all her life and graduated from Old Bridge Highschool. Amanda has always had a love for animals and is happy that she has now made it her career to help them. In her spare time, Amanda loves to spend time with her friends and family. A fun fact about Amanda is that in addition to her dog Zoey she has a bearded dragon, fish, and 3 pet mice!

Helen, Client Service Representative

Helen started working with us in November of 2019. She has found her calling working in the vet industry and hopes to continue helping pets live healthier lives every day. In her spare time, she loves to read a good book, exercise, or spend time with her own fur babies and her family. A fun fact about Helen is that she can wiggle her ears!

Sarah, Client Service Representative
Sarah joined our hospital in May of 2019. She currently attends Rutgers University and is a psychology major. Sarah has a soft spot for kittens and couldn’t resist adopting two of them from our hospital who needed a home! Because of her love for animals, she has also spent volunteering at shelters and rescues. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys hiking, spending time with her four cats, and visiting LBI.
Janine, Client Service Representative
Janine joined our hospital in July of 2009. Within that amazing length of time, she has also accomplished getting her teaching degree from Rutgers University and now has been teaching 4th grade for ten years! In her spare time, Janine loves to snuggle with her two cats, Poppy and Liam, and her two dogs, Otis and Winston. She also enjoys going plant shopping and working out. A fun fact about Janine is that she is married to her high school sweetheart Dan!
Alyssa, Client Service Representative
Alyssa joined our hospital in September of 2021. Aside from dogs and cats Alyssa has a special place in her heart for marine life and hopes to finish getting her degree in marine biology soon! In her spare time, she likes to watch movies and musicals, go hiking and spend time with her family and 3 pets Shredder, Belladonna, and Hercules. A fun fact about Alyssa is that she loves all genres of music!
