Technician Assistant – Melissa lives in Woodbridge and recently joined our team in May 2016. She has been in the veterinary field since 2001. Melissa has always loved animals, especially horses. Her family is very important to her and she lives with her son and fiancé. Completing her family are her “fur” babies, Harvey, a boxer and Ruger, a Doberman. In her spare time, Melissa loves to travel.


Technician Assistant – Melisa M lives with her 11 year old son and a 2 year old Coton de Tulear named “Comet”. Melisa has had a love for animals since she was a little girl. She grew up with many pets including a dog, cats and rabbits. Melisa started her career as a veterinary technician in 2001. She joined our staff in 2016. Melisa loves spending time with her friends and family and going to the beach in the summer with her son.


Technician Assistant – Lauren graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Lehigh Carbon Community College in 2009. Lauren originally worked in the Lehigh Valley, PA area as a veterinary technician for 5 ½ years before moving to New Jersey and joining our staff in November 2016. Lauren has adopted 3 cats throughout her vet tech career. Two of them, “Julio” and “Nesta” live with her mom in PA. Her pride and joy is “Claudio” who came with her when she relocated to our area. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys reading, running and visiting her mom whenever possible.


Technician Assistant – Ashley has always loved animals and that’s why she started working in a pet store feeding, cleaning and caring for the animals. That led her to getting a job in a veterinary hospital where she worked her way up from a kennel assistant to a technician assistant. She went to Bergen Community College for the Veterinary Technician program between 2015 – 2016 and later transferred to Penn Foster to finish the program. Ashley’s goal is to become a certified technician. Ashley joined our staff in June 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities like hanging out with family and friends, working out, cooking and baking. Ashley lives in Woodbridge with her husband and her one rescue cat named “Lil”.


Technician Assistant – Matt graduated from Camden County College in 2012 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science for Veterinary Technician. He is presently going to Rutgers University and carrying a double major in Nursing and Cultural Anthropology. Matt is part of the Class of 2019. He has been a veterinary technician since 2012. Matt is married to Bryan and they share their home with their dog named Rowan, a Jack Russell Terrier mix. Matt spends his spare time reading, going to movies and playing video games. He started with us in October 2017.


Technician Assistant – Megan is the proud niece of Dr. Gale Flanagan, owner of Route 516 Animal Hospital, where she loves spending time. Within the past couple of years, Megan has learned a lot about animal care and common medical conditions that are diagnosed and treated in small animals.  Inspired by her aunt and the other doctors and staff at Rt 516, Megan plans on choosing a career in medicine working with animals, preferably in the wild.   Megan is a diehard Ohio State University Buckeye fan, just like her aunt.  Other than working with animals, she enjoys traveling, playing the drums, reading, swimming, and spending time with her friends.


Technician Assistant – Rebecca has lived in Old Bridge all her life. She is a graduate of Old Bridge High School and attends Rutgers University. Rebecca is studying Animal Science and Biochemistry. She is also part of the Army ROTC program in Rutgers and hopes to be an Army Veterinarian. Rebecca started with us as a Kennel Assistant in January 2016. Rebecca has a cat named Cassie who was born in the hospital and she helped deliver. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys being outdoors, playing hockey and rooting for the New Jersey Devils.


Technician Assistant - Amanda joined our team in 2018 and is currently enrolled in Penn Foster to become a licensed Veterinary Technician. Amanda has grown up with animals her whole life, loving and caring for them, so the pull towards veterinary medicine only seemed natural to her. She has 2 cats of her own, Snowball who she found stuck in a car as a kitten, and Wednesday who she adopted from a friend. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys watching movies, reading, hiking and taking trips down to the shore.
