Technicians

Technician – Renee is our Head Technician and a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2008. She has been with us for over 3 years. Renee graduated from Wilson College in 1999 with a BS in Veterinary Medical Technology. She is also a certified animal control officer. Renee has worked in the field since 1995.  Renee shares her home with her husband, John; son Andrew, dog Max and cat Pixie. Her outside interests include reading and spending time with her family and friends

Technician – Jen has always loved animals and that is why a career as a Veterinary Technician suits her. She has been in the field for 6 years and at our Animal Hospital since August 2008. In January 2010, Jen passed the national exam and became a Certified Veterinary Technician. Jen grew up in South Amboy and loves hanging out with her family and friends in her spare time. She also enjoys traveling. Jen has 3 cats named Stewie, Toby and Squirt.

Technician – Joselyn lives in Milltown and is a graduate of Rutgers University-Cook College. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree and majored in Animal Science. Joselyn started with us in June 2008 and is a surgery technician in our animal hospital. In January 2010, Joselyn passed the national exam and became a Certified Veterinary Technician. Joselyn enjoys swimming, jewelry making and spending time outside. She has a chinchilla named Zeke and 2 African dwarf frogs.

Technician Assistant - Karen joined our staff in February 2008 as a Senior Veterinary Technician. Her interest in animals began in 1974 as a volunteer in a local animal hospital.  On a daily basis she brings her knowledge and skills to caring for our clients and their pets. When she’s not working, Karen can be found gardening, biking, travelling or just spending time with her family and friends. She shares her home with 3 children and a menagerie of dogs, cats and a hamster named “Snack”.

Technician Assistant - Georgette has been with us since September 2002. She enjoys working with animals and their owners. Georgette has 2 dogs, 1 cat and tropical fish. She loves spending time with her husband and 2 teenagers. In her spare time, you can find her gardening, camping and enjoying family gatherings.

Technician Assistant – Matt lives in Matawan and is currently a Kean University student. He is majoring in Biology. Matt’s love of animals brought him to us in April 2008 when he decided to pursue a career in veterinary technology. Matt enjoys going to concerts, playing guitar and lacrosse. Matt spends his free time cheering on the Giants and the Devils.

Technican Assistant – Samantha lives in Old Bridge and has worked at our Animal Hospital since 2006. She is a Junior at The College of New Jersey in Trenton. Samantha is a Biology Major and plans on attending Veterinary School in the Fall of 2012. Her goal is to become a Veterinarian with a specialty in Ultrasound. Samantha enjoys playing lacrosse in her spare time. She has 3 dogs named Tashi, Jake and Luna.

Technician Assistant – Kristy joined our staff in March 2011. She has been working as a Veterinary Technician since 2002. Having lived on a family owned farm, Kristy has a lot of experience taking care of dogs, cats and horses, cows, goats, ducks and chickens too! One of Kristy’s hobbies is fixing cars. Kristy has a Bichon Frise named Nala Bear.
