Dr. Gale Flanagan is the Owner and Director of Rt. 516 Animal Hospital since July 1994. Dr. Flanagan grew up in Nutley, NJ. She attended Ohio State University & received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1985 & her DVM in 1989. Dr. Flanagan shares her home with her greyhound Collier, her yellow lab Tucker and four cats Squeaky, Brutus, Inky and Kitty. Dr. Flanagan enjoys playing with her dogs, gardening, shopping for animal art, bike riding and rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Dr. Marni Cohen-Horowitz grew up in Marlboro, NJ. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1997. She got her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the staff at Rt. 516 Animal Hospital in April of 2005. Dr. Cohen has 2 cats, Alleygator and Monkey. Dr. Cohen-Horowitz is a big Florida Gator fanatic. In her spare time, Dr. Cohen-Horowitz enjoys playing golf and spending time with her husband, her son and daughter, family and friends and 2 cats.
Dr. Dana Livingston grew up in Sayreville and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science at Delaware Valley University. She received her DVM degree by the University of Minnesota in 2007 and practiced medicine in Minneapolis prior to joining our staff in 2010. Dr. Livingston and her husband recently welcomed their first child, a son, in 2015. She spends her free time picking up numerous toys, wrangling her 4 cats and teaching her Green Cheek Conure to whistle. Occasionally, Dr. Livingston is lucky enough to
Dr. Michael Cummings was born in Liverpool, England. He attended the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Cummings received his DVM in 1999. He’s been with our Hospital since 2008.
Dr. Andrew Lenton is from near the city of Liverpool, England. After completing a Masters degree in Physics at the University of Bristol in 2007, he attended The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland, and he received his Veterinary Degree in 2014. He joined the staff at Rt. 516 Animal Hospital in March 2015. Dr. Lenton currently has two cats named Calpurnia and Lord Rupert Everton.
Dr. Maritza Rodriguez grew up in Staten Island, NY. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware in 2010. She earned her Veterinary Medicine Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014. Maritza completed a rotating small animal internship in emergency, surgery & internal medicine at Veterinary Emergency and Referral Group in Brooklyn, NY. She enjoys traveling and cooking in underground Iron Chef competitions with her fiance & spending time with her cats, Patches & Tiger
